I'm an outgoing individual who enjoys traveling. I have worked for 8 years as a special education teacher with all age groups. I am a Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner and currently receiving my Orton-Gillingham certification through the Children's Dyslexia Centers. I having experience working with English Language Learners with Dyslexia and have used Orton Gillingham in their native language.


I have experience with using programs such as: Reading Mastery, Wilson Reading, Esperanza (Spanish Orton Gillingham), Read Naturally, Singapore Math, Touchmath, and Connecting Math Concepts, Lindamood Bell(Verbalizing and Visualizing).


I love teaching , since it allows me to individualize instruction for each student in a creative way. I believe that every individual can learn with the right tools and with the right person.I specialize in providing systematic instruction that best meets the individualized need of your child. I take great pride in knowing that I am flexible with either using Orton-Gillingham or Wilson Reading to make sure your child has a successful experience.


I provide effective academic interventions for in-home, one-to-one tutoring services. I conduct assessments of current student skills to determine academic needs and make an individualized learning plan so that you understand what plan will be in place. I will collaborate with parents and/or teachers to ensure academic success. Please contact me and together we can make a difference!
